Established in 2014, Santa Monica Brew Works (SMBW) is the first and only locally owned and operated craft production brewery on LA’s Westside. Over the past decade, SMBW has earned numerous accolades, including being named “Best Local Craft Brewery” in the Los Angeles Times’ Best of the Southland contest two years in a row. In 2025, the brewery celebrated another milestone with a podium finish at the World Beer Cup®, the world’s most prestigious beer competition, solidifying its reputation as one of the top craft breweries in the industry.
