Editorial Guidelines

To ensure consistent and accurate references when covering the Actor Awards, please follow these editorial and trademark guidelines.

• The official name of this year’s event is the 33rd Annual Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA®. The only acceptable nicknames are The Actor Awards®, Actor Awards, or The Actors.
• The official hashtag is #actorawards.
• The name of the statuette presented to recipients is called The Actor®.
• SAG-AFTRA’s highest honor is the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, recognizing career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment. It should not be referred to as the “Lifetime Achievement Award.”

The Actor Statuette

The Actor® statuette is presented to the winners of the Actor Awards. Standing 16 inches tall and weighing 12 pounds, the solid bronze statuette depicts a figure holding the masks of comedy and tragedy.
