The Actor Awards
The Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA is the only televised awards ceremony that exclusively honors actors in TV and film. Voted on by SAG-AFTRA's membership of 160,000+ performers, it has the largest voting body on the awards circuit and celebrates actors across 15 categories, including individual and ensemble performances in a motion picture, drama series, and comedy series.
The show and its statuette, The Actor, have been fundamental to the spirit of performers since the awards' debut in 1995. The Actor Awards airs exclusively on Netflix.
Nomenclature
NAME
The name of the event is The 33rd Annual Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA®. The only acceptable nicknames are The Actor Awards® or The Actors.
STATUETTE
The name of the statuette presented to the winner is The Actor®.
SAG-AFTRA LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
SAG-AFTRA's highest honor is the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award for career advancement and humanitarian accomplishment. It is not called the "Lifetime Achievement Award."
SOCIAL MEDIA
The official hashtag is #ActorAwards and the official handle across all platforms is @ActorAwards.
Logo Use, Versions & Downloads
To request authorization for editorial, promotional, or other use of the Actor Awards logo, email the Actor Awards Office at prteam@actorawards.org with your full name, organization, title, email, phone number, and a description of the intended use.
If authorization is granted, you'll be given a link to download high-resolution assets. Use is not authorized until you've been notified in writing by the Actor Awards office.
Logo misuse
Don't compress, skew, or otherwise distort the symbol or wordmark. Don't add effects like gradients or drop shadows. Don't render the logo with unapproved color combinations. Don't set the wordmark in a different typeface, rearrange, reorient, or resize the lockup, or add unapproved graphics.
The Actor® Statuette
The Actor® statuette is a single entity. It may not be modified in shape, color, orientation, aspect ratio, or in any other manner. Use of The Actor® statuette requires the express written permission of the Actor Awards.
The brand guidelines don't include a separate color-swatch page with hex values — these renders are the closest reference to an approved palette (deep navy, cream, sage, gold, and silver/pewter tones).
Editorial & Advertising Usage
Editorial use
News and editorial uses of the Actor Awards symbols and SAG-AFTRA marks in stories and articles are subject to conditions: all published representations of The Actor® statuette must include the copyright notice "© 1995 SAG-AFTRA." Neither "Actor Award," "Actor Awards," nor "The Actor" may be used to describe awards given by organizations other than SAG-AFTRA or legacy Screen Actors Guild.

Winner & nominee language
Winners may use "The Actor® Winner," "Actor Awards Winner," or "Winner of The Actor®" — any visual display of the marks must state the achievement, plus the standard trademark notice.
- Nominees may use "Actor Awards Nominee" / "Actor Awards Winner"-style language and a statuette depiction only between nomination announcement and that year's ceremony, max once per ad
- "Nomination(s)" / "Nominated for" must match size, style & color of the "Actor Awards" mark
- "Winner" is never used to describe a nomination
- The specific nominated achievement must be stated

Any use outside the pre-approved scopes above needs written consent before it runs. Recipients have no ownership rights in the statuette's copyright or trademarks and can't resell or dispose of it without first offering it back to the Actor Awards for $1.
